Red Light Flights

Meet Madame Scarlett, the passionate and fiercely independent owner of the "Lofty Pursuits," an exclusive brothel that caters to the wealthy and eccentric looking for a more... titillating type of adventure.

Her business venture is housed in a state-of-the-art airship that has daily departures for delight and debauchery, with only the most skilled of "talent" at her... fingertips. Special, favored clientele can book the "Lofty Pursuits" for extended engagements, including trans-oceanic travel in the company of the attractive and attentive residents and the height of modern luxuries.

Madame's personal attention is at her own discretion. You can't afford her, anyway.



"Red Light Flights" was borne from a habit I have of designing costumes for my convention appearances. I have, over the years, designed costumes to wear to a handful of conventions that I drive to (I have too much other stuff to bring along to cons I fly to to bother with including bulky costuming stuff.)

Normally, the design comes first and the costume is pieced together based on the art, however, with "Red Light Flights" the costume construction came first; assembled from WWII US GI spats laced together to form a corset of sorts, a bustle and white spats I sewed myself, along with other finds from my own closet (elbow-length leather opera gloves - don't ask why I already had these - arm warmers, top hat, garter belt) and thrifting finds.
